Sunny Pugmire is the founder & director of LevelUp Education, a tutoring company for grade-level students. She is also a UCLA Certified college counselor, proud member of HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association), mother, and educator. 

Before founding LevelUp, Sunny served as the director of a prominent learning center in Johns Creek with over 400 students, where she led the branch to become the company’s top-performing location nationwide. Here, she played a huge role in guiding hundreds of students into top-tier institutions as well as had a significant percentage of her students score in the top 1% of all SAT & ACT test takers.

Now, with seven years of classroom experience and over 15 years guiding students and families, Sunny built LevelUp as a place where learning feels empowering, comfortable, and joyful. Academic success is important, but so is well-being. That’s why she strives to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive, not just perform. She works closely with both students and parents as a team, helping them navigate everything from course planning and college admissions to internships and scholarships. Sunny celebrates every win—big or small—because growth deserves recognition. Her personal motto, “Nothing succeeds like success,” reflects her belief in building confidence through progress.
